People from all over the Canal community come into Canal Alliance to get help with such things as food, shelter, and education.This great organization has reached many successful goals. One of the most amazing things about Canal Alliance is their after school program for K-12 through college, and they guarantee that if a student stays with them through this program then the student has a one hundred percent chance of graduating from college. Now that is great! The Canal Alliance has been working for twenty-five years trying to make Marin a better community because they believe that if people have their own voice in the institutions within the community, then the community will be healthier. Luckily, there are many ways to give. One of their big needs is money, but you can also give simple help if you are bilingual and can help a Spanish speaker fill out a form that is not in their native language. So, come by any time and see what you can do to help.Teens can also volunteer in this great organization.
