Concord Youth and Family Services

Concord Youth and Family Services is a nonprofit organization that helps teens and those who are disabled. This organization was started about thirty years ago. Their mission has been to help those who are emotionally disabled. They provide residential houses, give adult and teen health services, and have programs for infants. There are about 30 different programs and over 1,000 people that come each year. It is hard for them to fund the school and some other programs. In 2002 they merged with JRI, another nonprofit organization with similar programs, and the partnership has been going very well. Concord Youth and Family Services hopes that they can always have room for every person that needs help from them. If you wish to donate money, they are always open for donations, but you can help in other ways, too. You can donate needed equipment and supplies by having fundraising drives, and you can donate your time by volunteering in many of their programs. Anything you do to help will make a difference.
