Rachel Schneider,
Financial Services
Rachel is engaged in the Youth Giving Account system and forging
YouthGive partnerships with financial service institutions. She
consults with financial institutions, non-profits and foundations
on strategic planning and the development of financial products
with a social purpose.
Rachel was previously the Associate Director of the Aspen
Institute Initiative on Financial Security. In that capacity, she
was responsible for leading the design of new federally subsidized
products that would facilitate savings and investment by more Americans.
Prior to joining the Aspen Institute, Rachel was a Vice President
in Global Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch & Co. She holds
a J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. from
the University of California at Berkeley. She is a member of the
board of directors of the New York City Financial Network Action
Consortium (NYCfNAC) and the Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center,
and participated in Coro Leadership New York XVI. |
